I agree now is a great time to start your own business, if you are laid off.

I personally stopped working for companies 6 years ago. I long wanted to work for myself and realized it will never be the perfect conditions to leave. After saving up some money, I took a leap of faith and have not gone back. I enjoy expressing myself through writing, doing the type of counseling I enjoy and connecting with the angels.
