Health and relationships are 2 casualties when professionals are pursuing their corporate careers. It does not take much to make loved ones happy and acknowledge their support. When I first left home to pursue my studies, my Dad gave me an invaluable tip - eat properly and spend money on your health, the rest will come afterwards. Technology can take control over time and I myself unsubscribed from my Blackberry service 4 years ago. No regrets, I have found my time again!

All 3 tips are valuable reminders of how important it is to take time for ourselves (and our family & friends).

On Sundays, I do my best to stay off my computer. It doesn't always happen, but if it does, I make it brief. Now that spring has sprung, it is a bit easier to get away from the technology (I don't own an iPad or iPhone) and enjoy what nature has to offer.

Tip #3 - not waiting until Saturday is a gem. More people should follow it, sit down and talk at the dinner table each night (instead of turning on a TV).
Thanks!
