I personally find the Pomodoro Technique works best for me but even then the task tension remains though not at such an extreme level because I know I will be returning to complete it. To be honest, it creates anticipation of successful completion. :)

My dear, this is a brain tease! I don’t know how I feel about this constant tug on my mind to complete the task. There are other theories that suggest improved productivity comes from allowing a break at a mentally, pre-arranged spot in the project or after a personally agreed time increment. In this way, stopping the task allows the mind to come to a natural close without losing the momentum engaged while fulfilling the needs of the project. It also allows for time away during which new inspiration may enrich the completion process. My theory is: do which ever technique has proven benefits for each participant as we all have minds that respond to stimuli differently. Thank you for always contributing opportunities for growth ~

I love to identify the psychological tricks that are used in advertisements and tv shows. Makes me feel like I know how not to allow the media to take over me.
But yes on the flip side, these psychological tricks can help us become more productive for sure 🙂
