In reply to Rachel. There are people who have more than 2 predominant bird profiles, Rachel. It's more important to use the right behavior for the specific goal that you are trying to achieve. It's good to focus on one's strength and find or delegate tasks that can be done better by another person. Success can also be teamwork. :)

I learned something new from your blog 🙂 I actually find myself in all 4 birds, each presenting an aspect of my strengths or my challenges. I have been exploring living my life and running my business focusing on my strengths and not trying to “fix” my less strong side, just accept that there are things that are more challenging from and or that I’m not that good at.

DOPE is an interesting concept, Vatsala. It encourages us to look at goal-setting from a different perspective and gently nudges us to evaluate what is the best plan-of-action that fits our personality. I can see aspects of me in each of the birds…depending on the mood I am in a particular moment. Thanks for bringing awareness to this way of goal-setting!
