In reply to Bineet. Thank you Bineet. I'm honored to have you visit the blog, especially as you are actively a part of the Teach for India initiative. I shall certainly check out the Barefoot initiatives. As the saying goes, one wave raises a thousand ships. More power to your efforts to help underprivileged children get an education.

Beautiful post, by just writing about it you make the movement stronger and the inequality gap lesser. You could also maybe see the Barefoot initiatives where they focus on education and not literacy. I just visited the barefoot college in tilonia and their effors are remarkable. Also, They work mainly with illiterate and semi literate women from the least developed nations. It has truly inspired and helped me and deepened my understanding of inequality.

In reply to Vanita. Most welcome, Vanita. Revolutions start at the grass root level and reducing the chasm of inequality is a good cause!

In reply to Andrea Feinberg. I agree with you 100% Andrea. I see so many people belonging to the other side of the equality line working to make sure that their children have a better future without asking for support. If only we could reach out and support all of them.

Universal access to education is the remarkable tool that could save the whole world from all its ills: poverty, prejudice, religious divisions, illness and decisions that affect many for the sake of the few. Thank you for highlighting these laudable efforts that will ultimately help us all!
