Welcome Pamela. I agree with you that many people who end up in leadership positions don&#039;t have the skills to lead. Promotions based on competency that don&#039;t factor in people skills or those essential for the new role often result in  Commanding Leadership. Organizations and the individual themselves have to understand that each rung up the corporate ladder requires the development of skills, especially soft skills.]]></description>
