Running water is used to cleanse Moonstone Ashley and some even recommend a few minutes in mild dish soap water to clean it but I wouldn’t recommend wearing it while bathing because one doesn’t know what effect it would have on the sheen. Likewise gemstones and crystals should be worn only after putting on perfume etc. You could of course take the Moonstone pendant to a jeweler to get it polished if it loses its sheen but I’d advise keeping hard soaps and detergents away from your beautiful pendant.

We often do practices intuitively that come from a different lifetime, Lore, and I would venture to say your connection to Indian Vedic tradition is coming from previous memories. Rocks and crystals from India is really a unique memento!

I was bathing with crystals as an intuitive practice, and now you’ve so wonderfully explained the rationale behind it.

When I travel, I ask the Goddess/Mother Earth/Pachamama if I can take a rock or crystal that I might find outside or in a store. As a result, I have quite a rock/crystal collection including rocks from Shimla where I visited in 2004 during a 3-week trip in India.
