I believe what the Dali Lama said about having children as young as 5 spend an hour every week meditating on kindness as the way to turn around an entire generation and, eventually, the world. Hate has to be taught. Love can be taught, too.

It’s that love that really makes the world go round – the Beatles got it right, Lisa. 🙂

It’s when one has lived in a place where these attacks have taken place and finds oneself trying to find out if friends and loved ones are safe that we realize how human we are because similar attacks elsewhere touch our soul and cause distress.

Vatsala, Thank you for wise words and this important post. I too feel if we all turned to love, forgiveness and prayer we would bond together on that love and be stronger for it.
