Gratitude Quote

Believers in the Law of Attraction know the value and role of Gratitude in achieving their goals and desires.

But did you know that Gratitude also helps to heal the mind and body and align the Soul with the Universe bringing good abundance and prosperity?

Like attracts Like.  If you really believe in good, then even when things are not going the way you want them to, the Universe responds by sending you help.

Being genuinely grateful helps to raise your vibrations and attract that which is good for you.

Doing any activity that makes you feel positive assists in taking your game to the next level.

Part of feeling sincere gratitude for what you do have is acknowledging and recognizing the true value of what is available to you and not, what is not.

I often ask my clients in their kick-off session to list what is working for them, the positives and then later, what is not working.

The results of this exercise always lead to a breakthrough and clarity for action. The changes in one’s attitude, particularly towards other people is amazing.

Simple yet unique Way to raise your vibrations every day

Here is a simple way to raise your vibrations and supplement your Gratitude Journal. I read about it years ago and find from experience that it works.

Cherishing exercise from the Dalai Lama

This simple spiritual practice which I understand was first shared by His Holiness, The Dalai Lama. It’s a wonderful way to start the day and sets the tone for much happiness. It also helps to teach the Soul the important attribute of Compassion.

Spend five minutes at the beginning of each day remembering that we all want the same things, (to be happy and loved) and that we are all connected to one another.

Spend 5 minutes breathing in – cherishing yourself, then breathing out – cherishing others.

An important point here is to include those people whom you find difficult to deal with. I find that if I do that sincerely enough, a change does come about in my relations and interactions with them.

Continue this practice during the day with everyone you meet, no matter how important or not important they are, whether you like them or not.

There is no hard and fast rule about expression; try a simple Good Morning, a smile or even a wave of the hand.

Continue this practice no matter what happens during the day and what anyone does to you.

You will notice that at the end of the day, you will have more items to put in your Gratitude Journal – guaranteed!

Try it and do come back to share how your day went.

Thank you for this wonderful way to start (and end) my day. I've always said thank you, it's impossible for me not to. But I've never learned to cherish myself, only others. It will take time but I'm determined to start cherishing myself and those I'd sooner ignore.

    • Karmic Ally says:

Welcome Kathy! A good first step is to start saying Thank You to yourself – that is cherishing too! I admit, I found it hard to cherish those I’d like to ignore but have since discovered that by doing it, the sting of those folks does not affect me. Instead, I find I continue to grow stronger, much to the stinger(s) dismay!

  2. Lisa Wells says:

Like attract like. I love this thought. I shall relay this to my middle school students next year.

    • Karmic Ally says:

Thank you Lisa! A Primary School Teacher who attended my Creative Visualization workshop last year taught some of the easier techniques to her 1st grade students and actually reported back that a couple of the rowdy ones mellowed down! I look forward to your feedback.

  3. Tom Holmberg says:

I completely agree, gratitude is the currency of trust and good-will

    • Karmic Ally says:

Thank you for dropping by at my blog, Tom. Gratitude is such an underestimated tool for bringing happiness into our lives.

  4. I love the reminder to include the morning practice throughout the day and with everyone you meet. Will definitely give this a try this week.

    • Karmic Ally says:

That sounds great, Lisa! Do let me know not if it made a difference, but how much of a difference! The day seems to go so much smoother with a bit of cherishing.

  5. Shelley Webb says:

Wonderful advise. I’ll begin putting that into practice in the morning. Yes, basically we do all want the same things (along with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs).

    • Karmic Ally says:

Welcome, Shelley! I agree wholeheartedly with you. Being loved and happy is as essential as the foundation need in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.

    • Karmic Ally says:

Thanks Shelley. We all do want the same things and one of them is to be appreciated.

  6. Anne Allen says:

Thank you for this post, Vatsala–this is beautifully written and I love the Law of Attraction. Like definitely attracts like.

    • Karmic Ally says:

Thank you for visiting my blog, Anne. Hope to see you here again, soon!

  7. Alexandra McAllister says:

Beautifully written article, Vatsala. I use the Law of Attraction as well as Ho’oponopono. I believe that we should use whatever brings us to the peace that we need in our life every day. Thanks so much for sharing.

    • Karmic Ally says:

Thank you, Alexandra. I agree with you completely. The Bhagavad Gita states clearly that happiness comes from within. Appreciation, Gratitude, Cherishing, Law of Attraction and especially Ho’oponopono help to find the happiness within – our state of perfect Buddhahood.

  8. MarVeena says:

This article was like a breath of fresh air! Thank you for sharing it!

    • Karmic Ally says:

Thank you for dropping by Marveena and for the compliment. I have always believed that once we appreciate what we have, whether good or bad, we can move to the next level of having what would give us peace and happiness.

  9. MamaRed says:

In the early 90s I was going through a tough time and my therapist “assigned” an Attitude of Gratitude and learning to say “Thank you” when given a compliment. I figured it was a stupid exercise, a waste of time, never realizing first, how hard it would be when I first started and second, how much of a difference it would make.

Thanks for a simple way to do this (especially great when you’ve forgotten, like I have, to practice that Attitude of Gratitude!)

    many blessings
    MamaRed

    • Karmic Ally says:

Thank you MamaRed for visiting my blog. I am grateful for your sharing your personal story with my readers giving proof of the difference that the Attitude of Gratitude makes. I cherish you!

  10. Norma Doiron@Start, Grow & Strenghten Your Business ONLINE says:

For me, I find that spending time with God every morning sets the pace and tone for my day. Can’t go wrong with him on board! 🙂

    • Karmic Ally says:

With God on our side and Faith in our heart, even the worst possible day is bearable and something good comes out of it. Thank you Norma, I cherish you!

If you’re a driven, passionate, talented and ambitious professional  who’s hit a speed breaker in your business or career and want to create your desired breakthrough to reclaim control of your situation, then you’ve come to the right place because we can work together on customized strategies and tactics that deliver results.

When my clients first reach out to me, they are not in a very happy place, needing clarity about themselves, their desires, chosen vocation and what will give them peace of mind. They are drawn to me for the very reasons that I highlight in Who Is Karmic Ally Coaching.

Lack of recognition at work, inability to project themselves with confidence and frustration are just some of their professional problems that are playing havoc with other areas of their life. They know they need to take radical steps to change the status quo but they also know they need support and accountability to get them their desired result.

I really get it, because I’ve experienced that dark night of the Soul. I know firsthand the outcome of getting lost in my work rationalizing decisions that were detrimental to other aspects of my life.

Like you, I’ve struggled with and won battles of stress management, corporate politics, life balance and career decisions to emerge in a place where I can confidently say that I live my desired life according to my personal Manifesto and have created a business that provides me with a platform for my desired lifestyle and self-expression for myself.
